Aritzo, in the Middle Ages belong to the Giudicato of Arborea and later it passed to the Marchesato of Oristano under the Aragonese and Spanish governments, but its history sinks the roots in the neolithic age, as testify the domus de janas of Forros and the some graves of giants.
